Central Elgin Council Adopts 2012 Budget

At their meeting of May 14, 2012, Central Elgin Ratepayers Association (CERA) President Ron Houghton read letters to Central Elgin Council in which ratepayers said they were moving out of Central Elgin because they could no longer afford the high property taxes and high water and sewer rates. "Our water and sewer rates are amongst the highest in the province," he said.
