London, Ont. - Dream Lottery tickets are flying out the door faster than a sizzling
drive down the fairway in the Jefferson Industrial Dream Home's golf simulator.
With the Loyalty Draw sales deadline approaching tonight at midnight, sales are
in full-swing and could outpace last spring when they hit almost 75 per cent sold
in the first three weeks. With relatively good weather forecast for Dream Home tours
on Mother's Day and Victoria Day weekends, the lottery may sell out in the next
few weeks, adding to the almost $35 million net proceeds raised since 1996.
"We are fortunate to have a supportive community and we can't thank everyone enough
for making the lottery such an early success," says St. Joseph's Health Care Foundation
President and CEO Michelle Campbell.
Today, the lottery opened another of its Ultimate Grand Prize home options to the
public. The Jefferson French Provincial Dream Home, with design elements inspired
by idyllic French countryside estates, is located in southwest London, across the
street from the Jefferson Industrial Dream Home that opened when the lottery launched
three weeks ago. The Nicholson Pinery Dream Cottage in Grand Bend rounds out the
home choices that the lottery is offering.
While the 50/50 has reached $610,000 and growing, the Travel and Treasure Calendar
(which will award a prize each day in August) is disappearing faster than last year's
