London, Ont. - July 5, 2019 – Yesterday, hours after receiving the news that they had won half of the record $1,053,060 50/50 prize pool with ticket number 5079351, Barb and Colin Brander showed up at the Jefferson Industrial Dream home in Byron. The couple from the town of Kerwood, (located west of Strathroy) shared that they are thankful for the lottery's beneficiary hospitals, as family members have received care in London. The Banders are, of course, happy with their win and say it will help with their retirement savings.

While she hasn't visited London after her win, the lottery's Ultimate Grand Prize winner Greta Tachdjian of Markham (who won with ticket number 032626), was also in touch with lottery officials yesterday, to let them know she has made her choice between the three available dream home package options or $1 million.

Tachdjian is taking the $1 million, all-cash option.

All winning numbers for the lottery's Early Bird and Final draws were drawn July 3 at the office of Deloitte LLP, 255 Queens Avenue, Suite 700, London, Ontario under the supervision of accountants of record from the firm Deloitte LLP. The primary purchaser of each winning ticket will be contacted by phone and/or mail. The names of major prize winners are posted on-line at www.dreamitwinit.ca and a printed list of winners is also available upon request by calling 1-866-319-9818. Additionally, winning names and numbers for the Travel & Treasure Calendar will be posted each day in August on the Dream Lottery website at www.dreamitwinit.ca and on Facebook at www.facebook.com/dreamitwinit.

Dream Lottery (LL10699), 50/50 (LL10700), and the Travel & Treasure Calendar (LL10701) are joint ventures of St. Joseph's Health Care Foundation, London Health Sciences Foundation, and Children's Health Foundation. Together St. Joseph's Health Care London, London Health Sciences Centre and Children's Hospital at LHSC receive more than 1.9 million patient visits from across Southwestern Ontario and beyond each year. In addition to caring for London-area residents, the hospitals are referral centres providing specialized services in support of the excellent care of the region's community hospitals.
