Long Point Basin Land Trust
Bathing in a Forest

Simcoe, ON, June 8, 2019 - Join the Long Point Basin Land Trust for a free event on Saturday, June 8th at Trout Creek Nature Reserve.

There's no place like a forest to bring you a feeling of peace and connection with the living world of nature. The emotional, mental and physical benefits of being immersed in nature are now widely recognized, with new studies happening often. We will explore these benefits while exploring the beautiful forest, engaging in conversation, quiet moments of contemplation, an introduction to meditation, and more.

Forest walks are a great way to get to know the many species of trees that exist here in Norfolk county. The interaction of different tree species is not only interesting but can also help us to see our own lives from a new perspective.

Tommy is a practitioner of the art of Zen, and he brings a holistic sensibility to everything he does. Join us in feeling the gentle power of the spirit of the forest!
