Mindfulness Mediation is meant to enhance our awareness of what is happening within
us. It is to become more aware of the many thoughts and feelings that we experience
every day and to feel more able to choose how you act and where you put your energy.
We will meet for 6 weeks to learn how to be mindful together. You will be supported
through this process with gentle and loving kindness. We will use the guidance of
Jon Kabat- Zinn throughout this process.
How will learning about and practicing mindfulness help you in your daily life?
It will help you to be more present, it can help combat stress and other physical
health problems including pain, it can help you build self-confidence, it can give
you a greater sense of meaning in your life, it can improve relationships and help
fight various mental health concerns.
