The Peterborough County OPP Crime Unit is requesting the assistance of the public
in an ongoing Human Trafficking Investigation.
Michael WALLWORK, who is also known as "Mike Mascioli", is 26-years old and originally
from Peterborough. He is known to have lived in northern Ontario communities that
include Kapuskasing and New Liskeard and through the course of the investigation,
police have determined that he had returned to the Peterborough area sometime towards
the end of 2016.
As a result of the ongoing investigation, he is currently charged with:
Procuring - Sec 286.3(1) Criminal Code
Material Benefit from Sexual Services - Sec 286.2(1) Criminal Code
Publication of Intimate Images without Consent - Sec 162.1(1) Criminal Code
Advertising Sexual Services - Sec 286.4 Criminal Code
He is scheduled to appear at the Ontario Court of Justice located in Peterborough
on March 17, 2017 for a Bail Hearing.
The OPP is requesting the public's assistance in this investigation. Anyone including
possible unidentified victims having any information about similar offences involving
