Warrant

July 11th, 2018 - On Tuesday July 10, 2018 at around 2:50 p.m. the St. Thomas Police arrested a 29 year old male on the strength of an arrest warrant in relation to a break and enter investigation that occurred in May 2018. The accused is charged with three counts of Fraud Under $5000, two counts of Theft of Credit Card and two counts of Possession of Stolen Property. The accused was later released with a future court date.

Assault

On Tuesday July 10, 2018 at around 4:20 p.m. police responded to a heated neighbor dispute. Investigation revealed that there have been ongoing issues between the neighbours at this location and there has been previous police involvement. On this date a 75 year old man approached his neighbor and a visiting friend while they were standing in their driveway. The man was carrying a golf club over his shoulder as he approached and made a threatening action towards the men making them believe he was going to strike them. The men were never struck with the club but the threatening action lead to the 75 year old man being arrested and charged with one count of Assault with a Weapon. The accused was released with a future court date.

Break and Enter

The St. Thomas Police responded to a break and enter at a Donker Drive residence on Thursday July 10, 2018 where a shed was entered. It is believed the theft occurred sometime over the previous few days. The suspects took a BE gas pressure washer and a Ryobi gas trimmer. If anyone has any information in relation to this incident they are asked to contact the St. Thomas Police at 519-631-1224 or Crime Stoppers at 1-800-222-TIPS.

Breach of Undertaking

On Wednesday July 11, 2018 at around 12:22 a.m. police attended a St. Thomas residence for a wellbeing check on one of the occupants. At the residence police found a 27 year old female who was currently on conditions not to be at that residence and not to be associating with people living at the residence. As a result the female was arrested and charged with four counts of Breach of Undertaking. She was later released from custody with a future court date.
