Police looking for suspects with heavy pockets

The St. Thomas Police are investigating a series of thefts from coin laundry machines throughout the city. Between October 31st and November 6th there have been 8 of these occurrences. In two, cases police have obtained video and photos of the suspects which are included on our website.

These suspects have caused a significant amount of damage to doors of the buildings as well as the laundry machines. Police are asking residents of apartment buildings to be vigilant and report any suspicious persons to police immediately. Police are further asking anyone who has had large amounts of coinage cashed in, or has observed anyone with a significant amount of change recently to contact police.
