Zoning By-law Amendment

1. 7:20 p.m. - Fehr, 9907 Penhale Road

Notice of Public Meeting - Zoning Amendment - Fehr - 9907 Penhale Road

Background - The subject lands, which are located on the west side of Penhale Road, have approximately 122.17 metres of frontage on Penhale Road and are approximately 14,892.96 square metres (3.68 acres) in lot area. Municipally known as 9907 Penhale Road, they may be legally described as being Part of Lot 25, Concession 9, geographic Township of Yarmouth, now Municipality of Central Elgin.

The applicant is proposing to rezone the subject lands to support a rural home occupation involving the applicant's home renovation company (Fehr Renovations Ltd.). The current zoning does permit standard home occupations, but the regulations for such use limits the floor area that can be used for the home occupation. The applicant is proposing a new, 2 storey storage building with a floor area of 840 square metres to support the business.

Correspondence was received from Catfish Creek Conservation Authority stating no objections with this application. With no questions from the public, or any members of Council, the Public Meeting was then concluded, and the Actions of Council on this proposed Zoning By-law Amendment will be considered at a future meeting of Council.
