London, Ont. – This past Spring Dream Lottery sold out early - before the Bonus
Draw deadline. Stronger early sales plus the introduction of a membership feature,
which acts much like a subscription, has this lottery far ahead of Spring sales,
with almost 30 per cent sold in its first week. The record-hot sales elicited gratitude
from the beneficiary hospital foundations.
"Thanksgiving weekend is upon us, I'd like to take this opportunity to thank our
community for its amazing support of our hospitals," says Scott Fortnum, President
and CEO, Children's Health Foundation
"The community's generosity has helped Dream Lottery raise almost $37 million (net)
since 1996 for state-of-the-art technology, equipment, research and education,"
notes Keith Trussler, Board Chair, St Joseph's Health Care Foundation. London Health
Sciences Health Foundation President and CEO John MacFarlane, added thanks to the
lottery's builders, suppliers and retail partners, past and present, who he notes,
"commit each and every time to make this lottery such a success, truly helping us
put the Dream in Dream Lottery."
The foundation representatives were then joined by builder David Reis in cutting
the ribbon to open the $1.45 million Highland Green Estates Dream Home which is
located at 54 Edwin Drive, just west of the Highland Golf and Country Club.
Beautifully designed and exceptionally built by Reis Design + Build, with interior
design by Jillian Summers of Upstaging and furnishings by Accents Home Furniture,
the sprawling, single-storey home boasts 4,130 square feet of form and function
that fuses old world and traditional exterior design elements with the modern amenities
expected inside today's luxury homes; including the latest and greatest in smart
home automation, designer finishes and custom millwork.
This home joins the Magnolia Refined Rustic Dream Home built by Wastell Homes that
