St. Thomas, Ontario - May 24, 2019 - Kettle Creek Conservation Authority is welcoming
hikers to a newly opened parking lot on Dalewood Road - with convenient access to

The Authority re-opened the parking lot this spring in an effort to provide additional
parking and access to the Dalewood Reservoir Trail. The parking lot will be open
daily from 9 a.m. to 9 p.m. and includes access to a privy.
A new trail connection was added from the parking lot to the Dalewood Reservoir
Trail last fall – making access convenient and allowing the Authority to provide
hikers access to another observation deck.
Ongoing bridge construction on Dalewood Road means sections of the Dalewood Reservoir
Trail remain closed at this time.
"Once the Dalewood Bridge construction is complete hikers will be able to park their
vehicle and access the entire Reservoir Trail Loop," says Levogiannis. "In the meantime,
the majority of the Reservoir Trail is still accessible – you just can't complete
the entire loop."
The Dalewood Reservoir Trail can currently be accessed from Locke Ave, Donker Drive,
Sutherland Court and the newly opened parking lot on Dalewood Road (See attached
