Port Stanley News RSS Feed Letters Censorship is alive and well

January 19, 2020

Shame on Port Stanley news for removing a succinct and well written letter to the Editor which featured an opposing point of view on climate change. Nothing in that letter was offensive, except that it expressed an opposing view to that held of the Editor.

This has been an ongoing issue from the beginning of the climate change debate. If you don't agree with the narrative, you WILL be censored.

Chalk this one up to the scourge of Political Correctness.

Harvey Easton
Port Stanley

Editor note - That letter was received yesterday and was removed today because of a request by the writer to have it removed. The letter had an opposing point of view on climate change but was not censored, edited or modified other than a copyright image that was included with the letter was left out.

Should you wish to provide an opposing point of view on climate change or any other topic, Port Stanley News will be more than willing to publish that. It's all up to you!
