Blood Trail Leads To Wanted Party's Arrest

September 7th, 2019 - Officers that responded to a report of a theft at a north side business were surprised to find that the thief had inadvertently cut himself on the item he was stealing. The store's staff alerted officers to their findings, which resulted in a search of a wooded area to the south of the business. As a result Officers located a tent, which later was discovered to house 30 year old Kristina Cook. Cook was wanted on the strength of a bench warrant and was taken into custody and held for Weekend and Statutory Holiday Court. The male involved in the theft is still under investigation.

Late Night Assault Leads To Charges

Two teens have been charged in relation to an altercation that took place Friday night in front of a Curtis Street address. One of the teens has been arrested, charged and released to their parents custody. The other teen remains at large. Two teens sustained minor injuries as a result. Police would appreciate anyone who may have witnessed this assault to contact the St. Thomas Police or Crime Stoppers.
