Applications are being accepted until Friday, June 28, 2019 to fill a vacancy for a public interest (general public) representative on the Lake Erie Region Source Protection Committee.

The 24-member committee oversees the development of plans and reports on implementation to protect the sources of municipal drinking water in four watersheds: Grand River, Long Point Region, Catfish Creek and Kettle Creek. The work is being done under the Ontario Clean Water Act, 2006.

The term of office will begin in September 2019 and last about 4 years, with a possibility of renewal.

The application form and more information on the eligibility and duties of committee members can be found on the Source Protection Committee webpage or is available at the head office of the Grand River Conservation Authority at 400 Clyde Rd., Cambridge.
