Blast from the Past! Eddie's patrons and staff get together to reconnect, reminisce and re-live the fun and craziness that was Eddie's Lounge.

Ruth McCormick had worked at Eddie's from the year 1984 until 1994. "It was the place to be, everybody knew everybody," McCormick stated. Mondays, Tuesdays and Wednesdays were the days that live bands were played at Eddie's. Thursdays, Fridays and Saturdays were days that had club music dancing.

People started to miss Eddie's when it was shut down and replaced by the Teen Centre. Ruth was previously asked by many people to have a get together to re-live the Eddie's past that everyone loved. Finally Ruth had decided to place her foot on the gas pedal and organize an Eddie's reunion to celebrate a blast from the past. The other reason why this had even come to mind was because Ruth was wanting throw a party for many people to enjoy.

The funds that are raised at the reunion will be going to the Teen Centre to be used towards food, clothing, sleeping bags, musical instruments and sound equipment. The teens at the Teen Centre are contributing to the fundraising by hosting a car wash and a food drive. They are also involved with the creation of the posters to advertise the Eddie's Reunion.

The items that will be sold at the Eddie's Reunion are mini pitchers, t-shirts, Queen evening draw, and roses. The place will be decorated in an 80's theme and those who are attending are encouraged to dress in an 80's style. Ruth is hoping that this reunion will collect at least $1,000 by the end of the ni

The reunion will take place on July 24, 2010 at Cools Warehouse. The price will be $5 at the door and each person will receive a ticket for one free drink.
