London, ON: In the past six shows the Fleetwood Country Cruize-In has raised more than $1.3 million for many different charities. Steve says "It is such a great feeling to be able to help that many charities by doing something that I love," says organizer and host Steve Plunkett, "and the show is getting bigger and better each year!"

Londoner Steve Plunkett would like to thank all the sponsors, supporters and volunteers for making the 2010 Fleetwood Country Cruize-In another huge success. This year's show generated a record amount of more than $345,000 for 27 different charities, including Jesse's Journey, London Regional Cancer Centre, SARI, and the Strathroy Middlesex Hospital.

Thousands of people attended the event on June 4th & 5th to see approximately 2,800 classic cars, plus amphicars on the pond and a twin-jet engine eight passenger helicopter that landed right in the middle of the show! There was even a replica of Mel's Diner that housed the stars of American Graffiti, for an autograph session that they said was the busiest signing they've ever done!

As for next year's show, stay tuned because Steve Plunkett just might turn Mel's Diner into Arnold's Drive-In and host a full-scale Happy Days reunion, featuring many actors from the TV show.

Please keep checking the website www.fleetwoodcountrycruizein.com for pictures from the event and details on next year's show.
