The Youth Homelessness Protocol is a unique process that links homeless youth with a network of services that assists them obtain or regain housing and to minimize the impact that homelessness has on their lives. This collaborative approach to services is part of the Community Action Network's "Taking Action on Youth Homelessness" initiative that aims to end youth homelessness in St. Thomas by 2015.

The Community Action Network for Children & Youth Elgin (formerly CCCYE) is a group of service providers who are committed to working together to find solutions and take action on issues that affect children and youth in Elgin County.

The launch is at 10:00 a.m. at the YWCA, 16 Mary Street West in St. Thomas on March 25th, at Aylmer Baptist Church, 153 John Street South in Aylmer on March 26th, and at West Elgin CHC, 153 Main Street in West Lorne on March 27th, 2014.
