Princesses on skates hit the ice at the Port Stanley Arena Saturday evening, January 26, 2013, for the Port Stanley Skating Club's Winter Gala on Ice show.

For the simple price of a donation to Port Stanley's local food bank, parents, grandparents, relatives and friends got to sit back and enjoy three synchro teams and 25 solo performances.

The always popular Port Stanley Waves elementary, beginner and juvenile Synchro teams, coached by Kim McCaw and Trudy Malloy and assisted by Leslie Ruggeri and Hope Simon, opened the show, setting a tempo of speed, form and precision.

Solo performances closed out the show, with coaches Kim McCaw, Trudy Malloy, Lea-Anne Demille, Cheryl Ewart, Laura Ferris and Lisa Johnson beaming encouragement from the sidelines.

We snapped a few Pictures for those of you who missed the show.
