Sam

Update Aug. 6, 2014: I just want to thank you for putting the ad in the Port Stanley News. Com. It did help; we now have closure as to what happened to Sam. Sad, but at least we know. We no longer need the ad up. Thank you.

Original Story

Our Golden Retriever is lost. Sam is well known to many in Port Stanley, when we lived on George Street and then on Thomas Road where he often visited the volunteers at the trout club hoping for a treat.

We recently moved to the corner of Union Road and Sparta Line by the old green bridge. He has wandered a few times in the last couple of months and has met a few more people in the area. Sam loves people.

Sam has been missing since Saturday August 2nd, 2014 in the late afternoon. He has a red and grey collar on and he is shaved for the summer. We miss him dearly and we are hoping for a safe return for him.

Sam has been with our family for 9 years. If anyone has any information or has seen him please contact Wayne or Dawn at 519-852-5165. Thanks.
