Update: Located safe and sound: The Walpole Island Police wishes to thank the media and the public for their assistance with this investigation.

March 11, 2014: Walpole Island Police is asking for the public's assistance to locate 16 year old Hugo Clyde AVINA Jr. who was reported missing on March 9, 2014.

AVINA was last seen by his family at around 1:00 a.m. on March 9, 2014 at his Walpole Island residence. He is described as being a 5'4", 150lb Aboriginal male with a medium build. He has short, straignt brown hair and brown eyes. He may be wearing red and white high top shoes and blue jeans.

The Walpole Island Police is concerned for AVINA's well being and anyone with information on his whereabouts is asked to please contact the Walpole Island Police at 519-627-6011.

You may also give any information you have regarding this youth's whereabouts to the OPP at 1-888-310-1122, for them to pass on to the Walpole Island Police.
