Yes, it was that time of year again on Friday night March 21st, 2014, time for Port Stanley's favourite Spring Event, the annual Port Stanley Lioness Club's Chili Cook-Off. It's a time for tasting, testing, competing, socializing, and taking home some bragging rights.

Held in the intimate setting of the Port Stanley Legion Hall, crowds milled around the room, chatting with friends and checking out the wares each competitor had to offer. As usual, there wasn't a bad offering in the bunch, so the real problem always comes down to just whose chili is best?

Judge's Choice:
1st: Kettle Creek Inn
2nd: Port Stanley Firefighters
3rd: Port Stanley Leo Club

Best Table Presentation:
1st: Port Stanley Foodland
2nd: Port Stanley Extendicare
3rd: CC's Café

People's Choice: (the most coveted award of all)
1st: Port Stanley Legion
2nd: Port Stanley Foodland
3rd: Port Stanley Firefighters
