Robbery Suspect

Petrolia, ON: The Lambton County Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) Criminal Investigation Unit continues to investigate an armed robbery that occurred at around 2:30 p.m., on July 23, 2014 at the CIBC bank on Petrolia Line.

Lambton OPP is seeking the public's assistance to identify the male suspect who is described as being approximately 6 feet tall. He was wearing a grey hoodie, a ball cap, a white shirt, winter gloves, sunglasses, and a he had a black bandana covering his face.

The suspect fled on foot in a north easterly direction through the adjacent grocery store parking area with an undisclosed amount of cash. During the robbery the suspect produced what appeared to be a handgun. No one was injured during the incident.

The Lambton OPP would like to speak to anyone who was in the area around the time of the robbery.

A photo of the suspect has been attached. If you encounter someone matching this description, please use extreme caution and call 911.
