Stretching from Toronto to Windsor, Canada's Deep South is among North America's most vibrant and fragile ecoregions.

The Lake Erie Coastal EcoTrail: From Essex to Niagara, the Erie Coastal Stewardship EcoTrail highlights natural and cultural treasures of Canada's south coast. The shore supports diverse aquatic and terrestrial habitats and an array of rare species. From a freshwater perspective, Lake Erie's wetlands are especially important because they provide habitats for populations of rare fish, including the Eastern Sand Darter, Lake Chubsucker, Spotted Gar and globally imperiled Pugnose Shiner.

The 30/30 Vision Campaign offers Ontarians a chance to learn about the natural beauty in The Carolinian Life Zone through a fun and interactive series of events, stories and challenges.
