The Youth Internships at Community Access Sites Program is back for the 2013-2014
term. From September 2013 through March 2014, our Ontario Youth Interns will be
available at each library branch in Elgin County to help you with computer training.
This is a free program for the public to help everyone and anyone who wants to learn
more about computers and digital devices - whether it be learning how to set up
your own email account, improving your typing skills, using your personal laptop,
tablet or smartphone, or any other question you may have. Each library branch has
Not only will the Youth Interns be available for one-on-one sessions, but they will
also be running group demonstrations on various resources available at the libraries,
and on particular social media and popular websites. The Youth Interns will also
be running specially-themed cybercamps for children at each branch.
Eight Youth Interns are working at the ten branches, all of whom are looking forward
to helping you with any of your technology-related questions.
