With the end of the campaign approaching, Elgin-St. Thomas United Way is asking residents to dig deep and help us cover a $100,000 shortfall. Without reaching our goal, important social services offered in our community will be greatly diminished. In St. Thomas and Elgin an estimated 23,000 residents benefit directly from services offered through agencies funded by United Way.

The campaign started in September with a Caboose Pull in St. Thomas and a hot lunch in Aylmer. Other events included the StairClimb and numerous third party events. Our next event is the Galaxy Cinemas Starlight Film Festival.

Goal for the 2013 Campaign is set at $620,000. Elgin-St. Thomas United Way funds 29 community programs run by 18 local agencies.
