I happened to catch an article whereas the Wharf Restaurant is in the stages of
closing down, and converting the building to waterfront condos. I wish them well
in their planned endeavour, but a word of a past consumer.
I sincerely hope the quality of construction supersedes the "slop" you served during
the summer. A friend and I went in for a breakfast, order wasn't correct, food wasn't
edible, (burnt), so after an hour, we left with a "complimentary coffee". This was
rather disappointing, never to return.
Good luck, although I'd prefer a pup tent over your condos which, I'm positive,
will be drastically over priced.
Editor's Note: The building which houses The Wharf Restaurant is not owned
by the restaurant's owners, Barb and Gary Scrivens, but by Dan Salhani. Mr. Salhani
is the one renovating the building into waterfront condos. Mr. Salhani has no input
in the restaurant's quality of food or operations and the Scrivens have no input
into the development, quality or pricing of the waterfront condos.
