After reading the article in your paper of the "Port Stanley Harbour Risk Assessment"
I keep asking myself "but what about the land under the water?" Is there
not going to be any assessment of this area?
Before Central Elgin does any dredging they will have to do an environmental impact
of the contract, and if they discover polluntants that cause the cost to skyrocket,
who owns this problem? Is there anyone on council asking these questions, or is
the fact this area is out of site mean it is out of mind?
