Midnight Dream by Betty Burrell

Back again with another exciting show is one of Port Stanley's favourite annual rites of Spring, the Port Stanle Artists' Guild Show and Sale, which opened at the Legion on Friday night, June 7th, 2014. It runs until 8:00 p.m. today and from noon until 5:00 p.m. Sunday June 8th.

The new collection of works shows how the artists have all taken some new twists and turns in their growth as artists, and much of it is pretty impressive stuff. What you like in art is an extremely personal matter of taste and there is a wide range of styles and mediums in this show to appeal to a wide range of tastes. Importantly, all of it is well done.

This year's Judge was Brian Saby, a native of Windsor, Ontario received his Fine Arts Diploma from Fanshawe College, 1970-73. A global exhibitor, he has also been the Artist in Residence at STEPAC in St. Thomas.
