Recording artist and singer-songwriter Dennis Kalichuk brings the full Jumbo Train concert band for a fun show at the Port Stanley Festival Theatre. Kalichuk, along with five other musician and vocalist friends, hits the stage for one performance on Friday April 4th at 8:00 p.m.

Celebrating the release of their sophomore album Vultures and Butterflies, Kalichuk says concert goers can expect a lively evening. "We'll be presenting a flowing, moving, artistic showcase of original music, stories and visual surprises that I hope will enthral, inspire and entertain," the St. Thomas resident offers.

Joining Kalichuk are noted bass and guitar players Kim Ladd and Guy Miskelly. Myles Pineau - producer of the debut Jumbo Train CD - will be on drums. Adding depth and colour to the vocals is singer and music teacher Lauri Ladd, and musical theatre veteran Dean Greer.

"We're excited to play the Port Stanley Festival Theatre venue! It's a very nice and intimate setting that allows for a real connection with the audience - which is perfect for our style of concert show. And there's not a bad seat in the house," says Kalichuk. "It's a great town to be able to have a good choice of fabulous restaurants for dinner, park for free and enjoy a night of original music."

So far, this is the only scheduled Elgin County appearance by the full Jumbo Train ensemble for 2014. Tickets for the performance are $18 plus tax and handling. Advance tickets available on-line at www.PortStanleyTheatre.ca or by calling the box office at 519-782-4353. Further information also available on www.JumboTrain.com
