The North America Railway Hall of Fame will be hosting its second annual golf tournament on Friday, July 25, 2014 and running Railway Adventure Days camps during July and August.

The North America Railway Hall of Fame will be hosting its second annual golf tournament on Friday, July 25, 2014. Registration and lunch will take place at 11:00 a.m. and the shotgun start will be at 12:00 p.m. The tournament will again be hosted at the Kettle Creek Golf Club.

The cost to play in the tournament is $85.00 per person. This includes lunch, green fees, and the rental of a golf cart.

On site there will be golf games to participate in, as well as a silent auction and a 50/50 draw. All proceeds raised will be going towards the Canada Southern Railway Station restoration project.

Canada Southern Railway Station and Elgin County Railway Museum presents Railway Adventure Days

The Canada Southern Railway Station and the Elgin County Railway Museum will be teaming up to present Railway Adventure Days for summer 2014.

This is a program that will be run every Wednesday for seven weeks. The dates of the programming will be July 9, 16, 23, 30 & August 6, 13, 20. Camp will run from 9:00 a.m. - 4:00 p.m. in regular hours. If extended hours are needed, the drop-off time will be 8:30 a.m. and the pick up time will be between 4:30 - 5:00 p.m. The ages of the children for this camp are between 6-12 years old.

The cost of the camp is $140 for the full seven weeks, or $25 per individual day. Kids will learn about railway history in St. Thomas through participating in fun and educational activities.
