  • Chatham-Kent - Rondeau Park
  • Windsor - Leamington - Essex County

Humidex values reaching 40 are expected.

High temperatures expected to continue this evening and possibly on Monday.

A hot and humid airmass will remain in place. This afternoon temperatures in the low thirties will combine with high humidity resulting in humidex values near 40 and on Monday humidex will reach the high thirties.

The overnight low tonight will remain in the low twenties providing little relief from the heat.

A cold front is forecast to move through the area Monday night bringing in a cooler and less humid airmass.

Extreme heat affects everyone.

Drink plenty of water even before you feel thirsty and stay in a cool place.

Never leave people or pets inside a parked vehicle.

Heat warnings are issued when very high temperature or humidity conditions are expected to pose an elevated risk of heat illnesses, such as heat stroke or heat exhaustion.

Today will be hot, hazy and humid with light winds due to a stagnant weather pattern.

Possible high levels of air pollution are expected today. A SMOG AND AIR HEALTH ADVISORY is in place due to the possibility of deteriorating air quality.

High levels of air pollution are expected today. Hot and sunny conditions are expected to cause increasing ground-level ozone concentrations this afternoon or early this evening. Local high risk AQHI values are expected this afternoon and early evening that may persist for 3 or 4 hours.

Individuals may experience symptoms such as increased coughing, throat irritation, headaches or shortness of breath. Children, seniors and those with cardiovascular or lung disease, such as asthma, are especially at risk. If you, or someone in your care, develop symptoms, reduce or reschedule strenuous outdoors activities where ever possible until the air quality improves.
