Snowfall warning in effect for:
Snowfall with total amounts of 15 to 20 cm is expected.
A storm system
approaching from the west will bring snow to the region beginning Thursday
morning. Snow will spread eastward on Thursday and end Thursday night. Snowfall
totals from 15 to 20 cm are forecast for most areas.
winds will pick up Thursday evening in the Whitehorse area and spread eastward
to reach Watson Lake overnight. Reduced visibilities are possible in blowing
snow through at least Thursday night.
Be prepared to adjust your driving with changing road conditions. Surfaces
such as highways, roads, walkways and parking lots may become difficult to
navigate due to accumulating snow.

Hazardous winter conditions are expected.
A storm system is poised to
bring heavy snow, beginning tonight, to the South Klondike Highway. Total
snowfall accumulations exceeding 20 cm are expected.

expected. Snow will taper off Thursday night, however gusty winds will persist
and low visibility will likely still be an issue.
