Special weather statement in effect for:

  • Ottawa North - Kanata - Orléans
  • Ottawa South - Richmond - Metcalfe

Snow amounts of 5 to 10 centimetres tonight with risk of freezing rain early Thursday.

Snow will mix with or change to ice pellets overnight. Snow and ice pellet amounts of 5 to 10 centimetres are expected. There is the also the slight risk of freezing rain early Thursday.

Untreated surfaces may become icy and slippery. Travel may be affected.

This wintry mix of precipitation is associated with a Colorado low that will track over the area tonight.
