Local Deer Tick Tests Positive For Lyme Disease

Edith Cavell Anniversary
click here to view details!  Many years ago, in the 1940's in fact, I had the dubious privilege of delivering the Windsor Star to the 30-odd residents of Port Stanley who subscribed to that paper. One of them lived at the far end of Edith Cavell Boulevard. Since I didn't have a bicycle, I had to trudge the length of Edith Cavell daily to deliver that paper. As a result, I developed a strong dislike of of Edith Cavell, whoever she was. full story
West Nile Virus Found in Local Horse

This is the second reported equine positive West Nile Virus incident to occur in Ontario in 2015, and Elgin County’s 1st since 2004. full story
